Pebo the Bouldering Bot

Pebo is a social robot designed to accompany solo climbers by storing their belongings, providing emotional support, and offering climbing suggestions. It moves around the bouldering gym and invites others to assist or climb together, fostering connections between climbers. At Delfts Bleau, Pebo helps solo climbers feel engaged and connected with the community throughout their bouldering journey.

Knot Voice 結聲

An IoT installation that helps Chinese emigrants build and preserve emotional connections with their closest contacts as they embark on a new life away from their hometown. It facilitates deep digital conversations and aims to bring them together physically at some point.
“Knot•結聲” consists of an IoT installation “Orange 橘” and a web application “Knot 結”. Emigrants and their contacts need to stay in contact digitally when separated, and knot together physically when reunited to interact with the app and the installation.
