Knot Voice 結聲

An IoT installation that helps Chinese emigrants build and preserve emotional connections with their closest contacts as they embark on a new life away from their hometown. It facilitates deep digital conversations and aims to bring them together physically at some point.
“Knot•結聲” consists of an IoT installation “Orange 橘” and a web application “Knot 結”. Emigrants and their contacts need to stay in contact digitally when separated, and knot together physically when reunited to interact with the app and the installation.

This project aims at the problem:
“How might we help the walking stick users pick up things safely and comfortably?”
The product is a multifunction walking stick that has a detachable clamp.
